NHS 111 Health Advisor required in Welywn Garden City

Connaught Resourcing are currently working with an established NHS 111 provider in Welywn Garden City who are looking to recruit permanent Health Advisors within their NHS 111 Services on a full and part-time basis.
The Role:
NHS 111 is a non-emergency telephone service providing patient’s advice on the most appropriate urgent care service they require. As a 111 Health Advisor, you will be the first point of contact, answering inbound calls from members of the public and health care professionals in need of medical advice and directing them to the most appropriate service.
Using the NHS Pathways software, you will ensure that all calls are answered promptly, accurately, and professionally in line with the performance standards. These calls could be escalated to a Clinical Advisor, an ambulance may be dispatched in the case of an emergency, or you may refer onto, or provide, information about other available services.
Out of hours shifts such as weekends and evenings may be included in the rota pattern.
Although full and part-time rotas are available you will need to dedicate yourself to a 5-week full-time training programme followed by 2 weeks of buddy training, which will be fully paid.

111 Clinical Advisor – Training Provided

Our client, a major provider of NHS 111 and Urgent Care services across the UK, are currently recruiting 111 Clinical Advisors to support their site in Oldbury.
Our client runs several NHS 111 contracts around the UK and are they looking to expand the team with the support of Connaught Resourcing.
This means we have a number of vacancies for 111 Clinical Advisors to ensure the delivery of
effective, safe and quality patient care, whilst ensuring that the performance of the services maintain satisfactory levels.
You will report in to the Clinical Support Manager and a Team Leader within NHS 111. The primary focus of the role is to ensure compliance in line with the clinical Pathways system and fully paid Pathways training will be provided. You will also be assessing and triaging patients over the telephone, making appropriate referrals as required.
The NHS 111 service is operational 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You will be required to participate in out of hours work to support and monitor the clinical workforce.
There are full time and part time contracts available. The ideal candidate will be flexible regarding working hours and this role requires out of hours work including weekends.
The Candidate
- You must have clinical registration either NMC or HCPC
- Evidence of continuous professional development
- Willingness to undertake and successfully complete 4 weeks training for NHS Pathways plus a period of direct and indirect supervision
- Have experience of working in a primary care environment, A&E, MAU/EAU or other first contact
