We are currently looking for an experience administrator.
Hours 9am – 5pm full time working in the office.
We are seeking to take on a Temporary Licensing Officers up until the 31st October 2024 – The role will involve dealing with alcohol licensing for pubs, bars, gambling & adult venues, printing applications, scanning documents, filing, data entry and general functions within the office. .
Process applications for licences under various Acts of Parliament / legislation.
To prepare basic reports and correspondence associated with the issue of licences.
To deal with telephone and personal enquiries on licensing matters.
o progress chase any matters relating to the issue of licences, including the use of associated systems including ‘bring forward’ systems.
To receive payments for licence fees in accordance with the City’s Financial Procedures.
To set up, revise and maintain manual and computerised record systems for licensing matters.
To produce statistical data on licensing matters from any record systems.
To assist in the general administrative and clerical duties of the Division as required including photocopying and filing. 9 Carry out reception duties as required. 2.10 Process applications relating to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Produce committee reports, appeal files, statements of witness and attend court and give formal evidence as required. Liaise with enforcement agencies and other organisations in connection with licensing enquiries.
Assist the Enforcement Section and its officers with enquiries as and when necessary.
